Sonic Ether’s Unbelievable Shaders (SEUS) shader need no introduction. Anyone familiar with minecraft, must also be familiar with this shader. It helps you to change the gaming experience by giving you a visual treat.

To install Minecraft shaders you need to head to the Forge or Optifine download page and select the download for the version of Minecraft you’re running. Once downloaded, locate the file and run. These are not the first shaders for Win10, but the bigger the selection the better. So, if you play Minecraft Win10 Edition and would like to have shaders at least approximately similar to those released for MCPE on Android and iOS, then do not miss Z12. This shader pack is assembled from those things that only works on computers running the Windows operating system, so the owners of other OS.

Sonic Ether’s Unbelievable Shaders (SEUS) shader just changes everything! Sometimes its hard to believe that you are playing Minecraft! Some of the notable changes are water looks clear, plants look more alive, plants move with the wind. This will give a much realistic feel. It also added some special animation for indicating the climatic change.

The lighting effect is the main reason behind the fame of the SEUS shader. Some of the noteable modifications are torchlight is different from moon light. Shadows are much better. The grass had two shades for green for realsistic feel. Its really amazing that, how the devs had given importance to the small details as well.

The sky texture is also changed to some extent. In the default version the clouds are pixelated and scatted. With the SEUS shader, the skies are thin and moveable. Thought its not perfect, it s beetter than the default version.

Wellthats being said, we highly recommed you to try this SEUS shader pack. You will never regret this option. Sometimes it takes the toll on the graphics card. But this shader is worth a try!

How to install Sonic Ether’s Unbelievable Shaders?

1. Download and install Optifine HD Mod on your Minecraft client.
2. . Now go the location, where the application files are stored. For windows navigate to %appdata%/minecraft. For iOs, navigate to Library/Application Support/Minecraft. For Linux Os, navigate to /.minecraft
3. Search for shader pack folder. If not found, create one on the same location.
4. Copy the extracted files from the SEUS zip file. (Download the file from the below link)
5. Now navigate to options > Video Settings > Shaders and set ‘old lightning’ as default.
6. Now you can select the shader from the options > Shaders
7. All set to go! Now enjoy SEUS shader to the full extent.

1. SEUS Renewed

Performance requirement: High

Latest version of the legendary SEUS shader. Previously I used both SEUS v10 and v11 and loved them both.

2. Sildur's Vibrant Shaders (Extreme)

Performance requirement: Medium

Very colorful and 'happy' feeling shader. Even though this is the extreme version of the shader, the performance requirement is quite medium – even on the lower end of this list.

3. Sildur's Vibrant Shaders (Lite)

Performance requirement: Medium-Low?

The previous one was the extreme version, this is the lite version. I see very little change in frame rate between the two versions. Maybe they truly are that similar in FPS, or maybe Minecraft just utilizes the extra frames to something else. Just give it a try if the higher end versions lag!

4. Chocapic13 V8 (Ultra)

Performance requirement: Medium-High

I have never used Chocapic13's shaders to my knowledge, but I think it is pretty popular, so I included it in this list. Has pretty 'realistic' feeling, and decent frame rates.

5. Continuum 2

Performance requirement: Extreme

Very realistic shader with a high performance impact. Not sure how much it can be customized for lower performance impact – as I said in the beginning, these performance values are based on the default shader settings.

6. Continuum v1.3

Performance requirement: Extreme

Honestly, I kinda prefer the older Continuum version to the new Continuum 2. I like the colors, and I used to use it in my cinematic back couple years ago. Very high performance hit, but if your computer can handle it, it can give very nice screenshots for an example.

7. KUDA Shaders v6.1

Performance requirement: Medium

Another legendary shader, stands next to SEUS in my opinion. There's a newer shader from the same creator as KUDA called 'projectLuma', but it did not work for me for some reason – that's why I wanted to go with the classic KUDA instead.

8. Robobo1221's Shader v7.1 (Extreme)

Performance requirement: Extreme

Extreme performance requirements, very beautiful. Has very nice weather effects, which makes it really stand out in this comparison. Check out the video above!
